Your Body, the Way You Want It

My name is Silke and I'm a NESTA certified personal trainer.  A bit about my background: I've been into sports since I was a teen. At age 15, I joined a gym, started with weight exercises and cardio. Later on, I got into Yoga, martial arts (Wushu) and Pilates. I also do spinning and hiking. To me, exercising is so much more than just being fit or looking good in a bathing suit. I just love the way I feel when I work out, physically and mentally. Martial arts taught me a lot about the mental aspect of training. I'm also passionate about nutrition.

I initially helped friends with workouts privately and that motivated me to get a license as a trainer. When I work with others, nothing gives me greater joy than seeing their transformation on every level. I love the fact that I can help people to get healthier, overcome or improve specific issues and feel better or become a master in skill related training. It's just amazing to see people reach their goals and to be part of that journey.

In the first session I'll do some evaluations and we discuss your goals. After that, I will start you on some customized exercises, specifically tailored to your goals, needs and abilities. Furthermore, I will create a plan for future workouts. Last, not least, I will make sure that you'll have fun! Workouts should always be fun, never feel like a chore.

Since I had a couple of sports injuries, I also learned a lot about recovery and what one can do to speed up the healing process

I also discovered how to improve cellulite in an effective way. I'm using a unique combination of exercises to melt away the dimpled skin. I've done that with several clients and the results were amazing!

No two workout sessions will ever be the same for two reasons. For one, our bodies feel different from day to day and I always take that into consideration. The other reason is boredom. I believe that doing the same thing over and over creates a mundane routine. I want every workout to be fresh and unique.

I’m the type of person who hates working out and never sticks to any kind of workout routine for a longer period of time. However, I’ve been training with Silke for 7 months now and can truly say that she’s the best personal trainer I have ever had. Our sessions are intense, and more importantly, never boring. I always feel motivated to keep going. We focus on strength training and on getting rid of some cellulite by mixing martial arts with Pilates and other specific exercises that target my problem areas. I love that Silke is able to gently fool me into doing stuff, which I normally don’t like to do, by working multiple body parts with a single exercise. Even on days when I’m not motivated at all - and there are plenty of those - I know that all I have to do is show up to my workout and Silke will guide me through the toughest exercises with patience and encouragement. She also pays special attention to my knee issues while simultaneously keeping it fun. On top of that she offers excellent nutritional advice for losing weight the healthy way. Thank you, Silke!! You’re the best!!

I came to Silke with a sports related knee injuries from playing soccer and shoulder injuries from lifting with bad form.
She helped me through the recovery process and help build the muscles around the areas for better stability.
Working out with her is been bitter sweet as she completely kicks your butt, but the results are truly amazing.

Silke came to my rescue and created a rigid regimen to lose the inches that I needed to fit into my dream dress. Through a strict diet and exercise and her not letting me give up on my goal, I succeeded. Without her guidance, knowledge, and tenacity I would have never achieved my happy day. Walking down the isle, I have never felt more fit and healthy in my life.

Silke is a truly excellent trainer. She is the perfect combination of toughness and sensibility. She works with the whole person mentally, emotionally and physically and because of her efforts to go the extra mile I am much stronger and flexible, and have better balance. I was able to lose the weight without gaining it again and most importantly working out has become fun and something that I look for.
